• Neuronano have been granted funding from Vinnova

Neuronano is happy to announce that we have been granted funding from Vinnova, the Swedish authority for innovation and science.

The grant received is part of Vinnovas call focusing on strengthening competence within the organization (Medtech4health) in order to get innovative MedTech products faster to market. The grant will be used in a project to create product requirement specifications, i.e. descriptions of usage, safety and efficacy of the device. These specifications will then be used in our Deep Brain Stimulation development for Parkinson patients. The product requirements, based on user and patient needs, will form the basis for initial product concepts.

With the help of the grant we will further strengthen our team with a specialist in Industrial Design whose main focus will be to develop the concepts.

The project goals are to:

- Identify the user’s needs

- Identify the patient's needs

- Define product requirements through processing of identified needs

- Generate product concepts that meet the product requirements specification

Our future work in product development will greatly benefit from this project, by gaining further insights in requirements, identification and prioritization of concepts as well as product designs.
